Eat Yo Fruits5:00 PM
Hey guys! Since I rarely do outfit posts, I thought I'd do them more often starting with this particular outfit that I'm completely in ❤︎ with, and I hope you do too!
The top and sandal are recent purchases and are added to my "patch" collection. You've probably heard of this trend, ya know, where shirts, jeans and even bags are filled with stickers/patches? Well, I've been obsessed with them since late last year and have a whole collection of patched shirts now. Do tell me if you'd like to see my collection or not.
Let's talk about the outfit..
Top // Public Culture
Jeans // Bullhead via Pacsun
Bag // Zara
Shoes // Chiel
Both the top, and the sandals I'm wearing in this post is from a store called Goods Dept, which is basically the Indonesian version of Urban Outfitters. They are very similar, but the great thing is, Goods Dept ain't as pricy as UO.
So a few minutes before watching the 12:45 PM show of The Jungle Book, we headed out to this store beforehand. Bear in mind, I had no thought of purchasing anything when we walked out, because I've always thought that everything that they had was pricy, but I was so shocked that they weren't too overbearing like UO is. I was very happy I got my hands on the Banana sandal because they were the last one in store, and it was in my size too. Meant to be right?! I've only wore them once, and I do have to say that they're quite uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time time, but I think once I get the hang of it, it'll be alright.
As for the top. Well you can say after getting my hands on the sandal, I was rushing to the cash register so I could pay for it and get on with going to the theatre. But my mom just had to show me a stand of cute clothing from Public Culture. I bought the fruit top because it matches well with the sandals and they're absolutely comfy to wear! Really wished I bought some other stuff from them too.
As you can see, the back of the shirt says "Eat Yo Fruits". I'm trying to eat them every single day to be more healthy, ya know?! But as you can see from my face, I ain't amused with this habit. Because I love my fries and ice creams, eating less of them is painful! Hence why I'm all frown faced and miserable in the pictures. (In all seriousness, it was the heat that was making me all frown faced! It was 30 degrees outside or more!).
I hope you all have a lovely Wednesday! Tell me if you'd like to more outfit posts or not, it would be much appreciated. ❥
Credits to my lovely mom for taking pictures of me! She's a champ.
Much love, Ashley xx
