What I Bought In: Bangkok

Okay, I sorta lied when I said last Thursday's post was the last you'll see of the Bangkok posts. My dad called me out on it, so yeah. Cheers, dad! I bought a lot of stuff when I was there, and they're all great and oh so cute. Nothing better than a cheeky little haul, right?! I bought more clothes than miscellaneous things, so let's start with the cutesy random stuff that I bought whilst I was there.

On the first day of exploring Bangkok, we went to Central Chidlom and I was eyeing the Guardsman Glasses Case from Cath Kidston as I passed by the store and thought about it for a while when I was at Topshop. As I passed by the store again before heading to lunch, I decided sod it! I'm gonna purchase this baby and make it mine, because I know I'm going to regret it if I didn't buy it. The second purchase of the day was the Sephora Lip Stain in the shade 05 Infinite Rose. Basically what happened was I brought along my Tanya Burr lipgloss and it just wasn't doing it. I looked like death, my lips were so pale! So when Sephora was just around the corner, I picked this one up and OMG I'm in love. It's so buttery and hydrating and the best thing is, it stays on your lips for quite a while which is always a plus for me. Even the name is gorgeous.

On our last day, I saw this Elmo Eye Mask when I was strolling through the department store and had to get it. Never in my life have I wore an eye mask before, so this a new one for me. Gonna wear it on the 21 hour flight (yes, 21!) to LA when I go there! Last but not least, this gorgeous Tea iPhone Case that I just had to have in my life. I don't know about you, but finding a cute looking iPhone 5s case these days is hard. Super duper hard. I found one that was uber cute at Siam Paragon, but of course they only had it in iPhone 6! Ugh. Anyways, very happy that I bought this one because well, tea is just one of my favorite things in the world. ;)

Tops

These two are my favorite ones out of every single clothing that I bought. I'm not normally into shirts that much, I just felt that they were far too formal to wear on a daily basis. But oh my am I in love with these two. I'm completely biased because I'm a dog person, but the frenchie shirt is the best thing I've ever purchased.

The cat on the pocket one isn't bad (lying, I love it so much!), but I do find it quite hard to wear any type of jacket with it because of the sleeves. Other than that, no complaints from me! And last but not least, the sailor top (that's what I call it). Very cute. I've worn it once already and I love how it drapes on the body, but I do have to roll up the sleeves a tiny bit so I don't look like I'm drowning in denim.

Dresses

I just realized that I bought way too much dresses! Not usually a dress kind of gal, lately though, I've been loving it. On days where I don't feel like dressing up, I'm just gonna put a dress on because they're literally the easiest thing to put on. Most of the dresses I bought are casual dresses/shirt dresses, the most out of my comfort zone dress that I bought out of all of these is probably the macaroon one. The flare of it is usually not my thing, but I thought I'd give it a try, you know? A very perfect dress for afternoon tea, don't ya think? ;)

Oh and P.S, I bought this all in a night market just around the corner from my hotel! Happiest night of my life. And the hottest too, because oh my was it humid! My cheeks were red as a tomato by the time we made it back to the room. Nonetheless, it was a night I'll never forget because boy am I happy with my purchases!

Happy Sunday everyone. x

Much love, Ashley xx

  17. Ugh I miss the cute things you always find in Thailand. I wasn’t going to go back this year but I think I will after your post haha I am in love with those plain striped dresses. They’re so Korean street style & it’s really easy to find super cute cases there if you know where to look. I love the one you got! Super cute.
