Petronas Twin Towers

I just got back from Kuala Lumpur and let me just say, I'm knackered as hell! Actually, we didn't stay at downtown KL, we instead stayed at Petaling Jaya, which is 25-30 minutes away from KL. Although Petaling Jaya is considered a suburb in KL, it had great variation of stores and restaurants that kept me entertained during our trip.

We stayed at the One World Hotel. Such a great hotel with great accommodations and friendly staff. Sadly, I didn't get a great picture of the hotel room, but let me just tell you, I've never felt so comfortable in a hotel room before! The hotel is also connected to a mall, which is great. Stores such as Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Zara are available there. But what I was super duper excited about was to see Monki, Diptyque and Aesop there! We don't get those three stores in Jakarta, so it was pretty exciting.

P.S, Happy December guys! So happy that we're only 24 days away from Christmas *insert dancing lady emoji here*

Downtown KL was bustling with people as I went there on a Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed the whole vibe of the city and the skyscrapers high above us.

A-MA-ZING.

Now when I said it was hot, I mean, it was really really HOT. I made the mistake of wearing a
turtleneck top which is just so stupid of me (ha ha ha). But I didn't regret it, because I felt like I could take on the world when I wore it! I didn't take a lot of pictures there, mainly because it was hard to get a proper picture of the towers. So, sorry for that!

I saw the Towers when I was still a little kid, so I don't remember it as much. So, it was a great experience to see the Twin Towers again.

The Twin Towers was said to be the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004, but was sadly surpassed by the Taipei 101. The building is 1,483 ft tall and because I'm not a big fan of heights, I didn't get on to the top of the building to see the view of Kuala Lumpur. Quite bummed out about that, but we'll see if I'll go to the top in the future!

Afterwards, we went inside KLCC, the mall right next to the Twin Towers. Reminded me a lot of Singapore's Marina Bay Sands's shopping centre. A lot of the stores are high end, but there are some high street stores scattered over the mall.

Couldn't resist taking some shots of the Christmas Tree inside Bath & Body Works. Look how festive it is! The Body Shop also went all out and the front of the store is filled with Christmas decorations and I fell in love with it basically. Thought that the pictures above were appropriate since it's the first day of December. :)

Have one of you visited KL before? If yes, be sure to comment down below places I should visit the next time I go there!

Much love, Ashley
