Deck the Ha(u)ll!

Monki bag / Monki 'Gail' case / Diptyque candle in 'Gardenia'/ Harrods London mug
As all of you may know, if you've read my blogpost about the Petronas Towers, I was in Kuala Lumpur for a couple of days two weeks ago. Bought a few stuff from there that I thought you guys would love to see! (Well, I myself love staring at all the stuff I bought, so...)

Topshop sundress (sale) / Zara suede jacket (similar here)
Felt quite guilty that I bought so much stuff in a span of three days, but oh well! Sometimes, you just gotta treat yo' self! :P

I bought a lot of stuff mainly because some of the stuff that I bought was quite cheap and most of the brands that I bought from isn't available here in Indonesia. I was super duper happy that they had Monki there! I was wondering though, is Monki from the UK or Sweden? Please let me know! I'm so curious about it. When I saw their store in Paris, I thought it was from there because Monki sounded a bit French. But I might be wrong. So, please tell me know if you know anything about it!

There was a sale going on in Topshop, and I found this amazing sundress that would be perfect to wear here in Jakarta. It's a bit too beachy for my liking, but I thought if I paired it up with a jacket or something underneath the dress, it'd look nice. Not gonna lie, I wanted to buy every single coats, capes and sweaters in Topshop, sadly I wasn't allowed to buy them because why the hell would I wear a coat in a 30 degree heat?! As for the Zara jacket, it was love at first sight. When I saw it on the mannequin, I just had to buy it. It's soft and warm! So perfect for the rainy season here in Indonesia.

As for the bag and wallet from Monki, I just had to get it. The color of it is so wonderful! Never seen anything like it before. I know everyone's into copper/rosegold nowadays, and I must say Monki stocked up a few other copper stuff in their store that I wanted to buy. Refrained myself from buying any more copper stuff, because I don't want to overdo it. They were quite cheap too!

Okay, so I've collected mugs over the past three years, and I've stopped buying them for a couple of months now. But when I saw the Harrods mug in the airport, I had to bring it home with me. It's Christmassy, and has great illustration of London's landmarks! Wanted to buy more mugs but I bet I would be told off by my parents if I did. I love the size of the mug and the fact that it isn't so heavy.

Now onto the final product. A Diptyque candle. I had to buy it, okay? I thought to myself, "When will I encounter a Diptyque store in Asia?". Probably never. So, it was a precaution for me, mainly because I once saw it in London and didn't buy it.

So happy that I have it now! I chose the Gardenia scent. I don't usually go for floral scents, but this one drew me in. The most best seller scent of theirs is Baies, and I personally didn't like it. Maybe the next time I give it a sniff, I'll love it. Who knows? Anyways, I've been burning the candle so much this week. Gonna try and burn it less, because I'm scared that I'll finish the candle in just a month!

Yes, it is quite pricy, but it's so worth it. The smell of it calms me down. And not to mention the packaging! It's oh so lovely. (Seriously though, I'm not throwing the box out either). With the French words flying around the packaging and box, it appealed to me even more. Because ya know, the language is just too beautiful to be true.

So, what do you think I should buy the next time I encounter a Diptyque shop? Be sure to comment down below your suggestions! Happy Sunday, guys! x

Much love, Ashley xx
