Frolicking Down Portobello Road

Stepping out onto Portobello Market, I felt as if I was a princess of some sort. Okay, not really. But I really felt as if I was a real Londoner, you know? Doesn't hurt that I went on a Saturday either, so all the Londoners were all out and about heading to the market and buying out some stuff for the next week or so. The market is located in Notting Hill which is a borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and I've got to say it to you guys, Kensington has got to be my favorite neighborhood in the city so far. I feel so regal whenever I'm there (hahaha!).

Just appreciate the pastel colored houses, alright? How cute are they?! I've never seen anything like it before, so I was left awestrucked when I first saw it. I usually only see them time to time from someone's Instagram or blog, so I felt really really blessed and lucky to be able to see it in real life.

I made a goal to myself that one day, I'll live in one of these houses. Not specifically the ones in these pictures as there are loads of other pastel colored houses in Notting Hill. Sadly, these are the only ones I found whilst I was there. Many people seem to find hundreds of others in Notting Hill on Instagram, I wonder where they are?!

This is me chatting up with Mr. Darcy (in my dreams, aha!).

Strolling down further into the market, I couldn't help but fall in love with it even more. With the sun out, everyone was smiling and it was contagious. Don't be fooled by the sun though, it was still quite freezing at the same time! Will definitely come back when I'm around London in the future!

Which one is your favorite pastel colored houses? Mine's definitely got to be the pink or yellow one!

Much love, Ashley xx

    1. Yes, such a perfect neighborhood! And I'm not usually this obsessed with neighborhoods where I live. Ah, yes, London would be HEAVEN if every single house was pastel colored! But some are beautiful as well. :)
