Maliboo

Currently feeling the Maliblues (see what I did there?), but it has gone down a bit because as you're reading this, I'll be packing away for my trip to London ! So happy to be heading back as London is my favorite city. Just letting you know that the next few posts will be scheduled! I'll split the Malibu posts to three posts as I took way too much pictures to put in one post. Be sure to follow me on Instagram to see my adventures in London. :)

So a couple of weeks back, I found myself in Malibu. I've been to LA hundreds of times but never found myself cruising through the Highway, staring at the blue ocean as I pass by. Our main destination for this whole trip was to visit the Getty Villa. Found ourselves famished as lunchtime approached us, so we headed out to lunch beforehand! Well, I finally got to do that and I do have to say that it was worth the drive. The trip to Malibu was about an hour and a half with traffic but it took us quite a while to head back to LA as the rush hour loomed on us.

So after an hour and a half of being cooped up in the car (didn't mind it though, as the view was gorgeous), we got our butts off our seats and ate lunch at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe. The food was great, the view was even greater, but the best of all was the company. The restaurant was packed, thankfully we didn't have to wait too long. Service was great and the food came out quite fast as I was hangry as hell (as always, nothing's changed).

Cute little doggy!

I ordered myself a grilled chicken sandwich and was so surprised that it tasted good! I'm not a big fan of sandwiches, but I could definitely picture myself going back to this restaurant and get ravenous over it. I love fries, but oh my gosh, these fries are too much for me! I had to share half of them to my sister and dad, haha.

A walk after eating a whole lot food feels greater than ever. Quite hard to walk in the sand with platform sandals (I'm crazy to wear that on the friggin' beach), but it felt so good to walk along the beach and feel the breeze on your skin. I managed to make a fool of myself by acting like Rose from Titanic, except I don't have a Jack of my own to hold me. Pathetic ol' me, hehe. We also got to see a glimpse of a couple of hotties playing football. Always a plus for me!

As for the outfit I wore, let's just say I'm currently with bell sleeves and frills at the moment. They're very comfy to wear, and I just friggin' love how the bell sleeves look on me even though they're a little bit too long for my short arms. I got the top from Forever 21!

Hoping that I can visit Malibu later this year and have a relaxing weekend there. Definitely worth the trip!
