✿ Thé Alfred ✿

Hello, hello! Writing this when I'm jetlagged as hell is probably not a great idea, but I've got a busy few days ahead of me, so apologies if there are a lot of typos. Or you know, sentences that don't really make sense aka gibberish.

If you live in LA or have been there this past year or so, you've probably heard of Alfred Coffee before. Just a couple of weeks ago, Alfred opened up a new branch called Alfred Tea just a couple blocks away from the coffeehouse. I was once a coffee gal but soon moved on to tea. So I was really, really excited that they opened up a tea house.

Now the word tea house may make you of scones and sandwiches, but it's not. They have regular teas and bubble teas (they're my fav). Before going to Melrose and indulging myself in their tea, I scrolled through their Instagram and was in love by the color theme and decor of the place. Everything there is pink and I'm not ashamed to say that it has been my favorite color for the past two months or so. Knowing that the decor is absolutely cute and Instagram-able, I wore a pink bomber and pink top so I could blend in with the walls. (Lolz).

There isn't much space inside tea room, so we hung out outside of the tea house whilst taking hundreds of pictures by the entrance (oh the things we do for Instagram). The service was great and did you see the test tubes filled with teas?! Something about them calms the shit out of me and satisfies the tea connoisseur deep inside of me. Anyways, I ordered the rose milk tea with bobba and it was pretty good, although the first sip was quite weird as there's a mint aftertaste. After that, it was all right in the world. They also have a very cute little stand filled to the brim with mugs and cups with their logo written on it and of course, I bought myself a mug because one person can't have too much mugs in their life, right? (In all seriousness though, I need to get my mug collection under control. And refrain myself from buying more mugs in the near future).

So I suggest you go on and visit this cute as hell teahouse. You will love it, I guarantee you! Have a bloomin' lovely Sunday everybody.
