Instagrammable Walls in Abbot Kinney
It's no surprise that I'm slightly infatuated with wall arts. They've been trending for quite a while now. I've ticked off quite a few famous ones here in LA, such as the Pink Wall, the one inAlfred Tea and of course, The Broad. As I made my way down to Abbot Kinney in Venice, I was surprised that there were tons of beautiful walls along the way! Nothing better than a little bit of shopping, and a little bit of outfit snappin'! Also, an outfit post that I've not done for a couple of months. I hope you enjoy!
Buddha Wall
The Buddha Wall, aka one of the most photographed walls in Abbot Kinney, my sister said. Gotta say though, much kudos to the person who painted this as the intricate details of the painting is simply marvelous!
Now, as for the outfit I'm wearing... I decided to go casual for the day as I knew we were going to hit up the beach when the sun sets. I bought this dress from Pacsun a while ago and am completely in love with it! Very booby I've gotta say, and sorry for the TMI, but this was the first time I had to go out without a bra on. It was very freeing (hehehe). Paired it with my ol' trainers from Zara I got last June that looks slightly disgusting, but oh my gosh, it's darn comfortable!
Animal/Human Hybrid Wall
If I'm not mistaken this wall is created by Diana Garcia. It left me speechless as the art is quite eccentric and nothing like I've ever seen before.
The 'So Good' Wall
Couldn't resist taking a cheeky outfit shot here as it's super cute not to! Not much people were around, so we stayed and took turns taking pictures for the sake of Instagram (haha!). The wall reminds me of clowns, or is it not?
Palm Tree Wall
Located right across the 'So Good' wall, again, I couldn't resist taking a picture here despite myself being surrounded by palm trees 24/7 here in LA. It was bloody windy and hot at the same time whilst these pictures were taken, hence why I look like a little disheveled.
Also, can we appreciate how is this Poppy Backpack from Cambridge Satchel?! I got it for my birthday a few weeks ago, and I'm bloody happy with it. Thanks to Liv from What Olivia Did, I just knew I had to have that backpack in my life.
Happy Socks Wall
A girl was having her heels photographed, so I couldn't resist standing along with her and take a snap of my outfit, yet again. I just can't resist colorful walls it seems! The wall reminds me a lot of Lazy Oaf too. Also, can we appreciate the pom poms on my socks that I got from Pac Sun?! It adds a little more oomph into my outfit, me thinks. The downside is, it gets quite dirty when it makes contact with the pavement.
That's all the walls that I encountered during our stroll through Abbot Kinney! There are dozens more in Venice, so I would to go back and see more beautiful walls.
Which wall is your favorite? ❤︎
Much love, Ashley xx

DeleteI find wall art intriguing! I had an assignment last semester where I investigated this 'colourful' wall art in Berlin. It was so gorgeous and the idea was to bring people together by promoting a colourful community! x

DeleteI love the palm tree wall and it's so true, people love taking photos in front of walls! I was recently in LA and the amount of people crowing around a wall and waiting to take photos was just insane, that's something you really don't see where I live.
ReplyDeletewww.thesundaymode.com
There's so something artistic about it, huh?! Hahaha, oh it's so normal here in LA to wait in a line to take a picture infront of a wall!
