Friday the 13th

The title sounds eerie, I promise you, it's not! The exact opposite, really. :)

To be able to see my sister graduate after a few years of hard work was a phenomenal experience for me (and my family too, of course). Ever since I was a kid, I knew she would succeed in everything that she'd do in the future, and graduating from her dream school was one thing that I never doubted her on. She was always so eager for school ever since I was kid. I on the other hand, spent the first couple of days of second grade and fourth grade in tears because well, summer's break over and back to studying it was. Anyways, all I felt throughout the ceremony was a deep sense of pride for my sister, as well as happiness for her. I almost teared up when she got her certificate but managed to hold them in, he.

Despite how tired I was by the end of the night, last Friday will be on my mind for a while now. Mainly because of my sister graduating (obvs), BUT, I also got to see Patrick Schwarzenegger graduate as well. And you know what that means?! Yup, his parents were there too. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver attended the ceremony and my dad managed to get a cheeky (blurry) shot of them from across the hall. ;)

Also, we got to hear the CEO of Tinder do a speech before the graduates were given their certificates. Pretty friggin' hilarious because as he was doing the speech, a parent of a student infront of me googled Tinder right then and there, and well, I read along with him as he scrolled through his phone. :P

I hope you all have a lovely week ahead of you! Feeling quite under the weather these past few days, but am feeling so much better than I was last night. Really hoped you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. Quite a different one as this one's a bit more personal, soooo, really hope you enjoyed it!

P.s, excuse my tomato face. The Californian sun is strong as hell.

Much love, Ashley xx
