Turtleneck & a Corduroy Skirt

As I've said a million times before, we don't have winter here in Indonesia. We only have hot weather all year round and a couple of months of rainy season. We're currently in our rainy season phase, and even though it's still super duper humid out, I decided to wear a turtleneck that I bought a month ago.

I'm not planning on going anywhere cold soon, so I thought why not wear it now? I don't want it to stay inside a wardrobe and be forgotten by the time 2016 comes around.

How cute is that turtleneck? I nearly dropped down to the ground when I saw it in Zara! Aside from the cute print plastered on the breast pocket, I love the fact that the material of it isn't scratchy. And how it's not so thick that it would make me sweat a bucket when I roam around the city.

I tried pairing it up with a pair of leggings, but that didn't work (because I have the shortest legs, DOH!). So, I paired it with this maroon colored corduroy skirt that I'm absolutely in love with. I have one pair of something like this from Miss Selfridge, but I find that the shape of the skirt isn't as flattering as the one I wore in the picture above. It is quite tight on the hips and thighs, but I find that it sorta flattered my body shape and elongate my legs a teeny tiny bit!

As for the shoes? Easy peasy! Just grab some black boots and you're good to go. I was about to wear my Nike trainers but decided against it, cause I think I would look like a weirdo since the top and skirt looks slightly fancy.

What really drew me in was the donut print on the turtleneck. Anything with donuts on it would be brought home immediately by me. That's how obsessed I am with that sweet rounded pastry!
