Huntington Library // Part I

On the rare occasion that LA has a temperature of 25 degrees, a walk by the Huntington Library was a brilliant idea! A vast space filled with loads of different types of gardens, it was definitely worth the visit. There is a fee to go inside the Garden, but I promise you, it's worth it! As I went on a weekday it wasn't as crowded as it was the last time I was there, which was on a Saturday afternoon. Just a disclaimer, the Library is closed on Tuesdays.

Our first stop was the Children's Garden. Our main priority on this walk was to visit the Chinese & Japanese garden, so it felt good to come across this dainty little garden out of the blue. There were a lot of kids roaming around with their parents, going through small doors or tunnels for a good ol' fun by the sun. I absolutely love coming across the Pink Clouds flower (or leaf?), it reminded me a lot of a Cotton Candy.

My favorite, favorite part of our visit was the Chinese Garden. I've never really known much of their gardens, only knew of it from Mulan or Kung Fu Panda, so I was highly pleased that it was dang beautiful. Honestly felt as if I was in China! Many people were just mingling around by the small temples scattered around the garden and it was just oh, so peaceful. Honestly could stay there and sit for hours without anyone by my side, I'd totally be fine with that. Would even be better if Mr. Darcy was by my side (lol wishful thinking).

There is also a restaurant by the Chinese Garden with beautiful setting where you can sit. Sadly, we already ate McDonald's before heading out to the Garden, without a doubt I would try out the restaurant the next time I'm there! Because everything there smelled divine.

I'm definitely gonna visit the Library again in the future. Preferably in Spring when the flowers are in full bloom! Doesn't hurt that it's only a short drive from where I live. I highly recommend visiting the Library if you're ever in LA, the Garden there is damn impressive.

Stay tuned for part II of the Library on Sunday!
